Main Post Office

Thailand's postal service is reliable and efficient. Local postal charges are very low and international charges inexpensive. Many hotels offer basic postal services, and post offices can be found everywhere.

General Post Office: Bangkok's GPO is on the west side of Charoen Krung Road, between Surawong Road and Si Phraya Road; open 8am-5pm weekdays, 9am-noon weekends.

Poste Restante: if you have mail addressed to Your Name, Poste Restante, GPO, Charoen Krung Road, Bangkok, you can then call in personally to collect it later. Take your passport with you for identification.
